Murals

Italian Masters started its mural work in the basilicas of southern Italy in 1945. These basilicas were done in a fresco style by adding color to a wet gesso. This technique is very seldom used today due to time restraints and finding trained craftsmen to do the work.

Today, the beauty of a wall mural has become much more widely available with a technique whereby a painting or photographic image is transferred to a canvas. It is pasted to the surface to give the effect of either a hand-painted mural or realistic scene. This allows us to do all the art work in our studio in Arezzo, Italy and then have the canvas sent to any project worldwide.

Italian Masters has over fifty years of mural samples that can be reproduced using this new technology. We are available to do a one of a kind mural or you can choose from our extensive mural library.
