Canova Puro

Canova Puro is a gypsum material containing acrylic resin. Its origin goes back to the plaster casts by Antonio Canova. These casts, their natural beauty, their silky texture to the touch, their reaction to and reflection of natural and artificial light - as the one created by Carlo Scarpa in the "Gallery of Canova's plaster casts" in Possagno – have inspired Dante O. Benini and Bruno Sartori. This has led to a contemporary product based on ancient tradition. Application includes crossed sanded coats by means of a metal spatula with a l final polishing without using wax.
